Worshiping God Together in Spirit
April 30, 2020
Faith Church Family & Friends:
As you are aware, our church has been closely monitoring federal, state, and local publications and directives concerning the Coronavirus, especially as pertaining to churches and houses of worship.
We were very encouraged by Governor Greg Abbott’s public address on April 27, 2020, along with his executive order that followed. Although churches and houses of worship are deemed essential services in Texas and Governor Abbott’s most recent executive order seems to provide more than ample permission to resume actual church services under certain minimum standard health protocols, we believe it is best that we continue with our livestreaming services through our church website for now, with the possibility of actual church services starting mid-May.
Our church’s highest priority is the safety, health, and welfare of our church members and guests, and we share Governor Abbott’s concern for those 65 or older with pre-existing health conditions that may place them at higher risk.
To this end, we are actively working on developing health protocols that will allow our church to gradually re-open for actual weekly services, while also providing the option of attending livestreaming services from home.
Thank you for your faithfulness during this challenging time. We remain resolute in our faith that God will see us through this pandemic. In the meantime, we will worship together in spirit through our livestream church services Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
